If you want to use a non-Xbox 360 controller and play GTAIV, download this:

This can be easily modified. It's for a playstation controller, but most generic controllers should work. You can switch from foot to driver controls by hitting left or right on the dpad.
Give me feedback if you use this.
Also, let me know of any layout changes that make it better.
I think the only change I've made from this is the Ebrake assigned to R1 on vehicle controls.

um...when i play, i dont use xpadder and my gamepad (logitech dual action) works just fine....

the game pad will work without xpadder but you can change the buttons to what you want them to do.
my setup for gtaIV is the same for mta
