Just letting ya know that was a preliminary game. Which is used to try new strats and setting up plays before the medal games. Excuses, you may be thinking but think about it, preliminary games noone gets knocked out. You can suck all you want and still be in it for the gold medal. All that loss did was made Canada have an extra game which is againts germany and Team US a day off thats about it. If Canada beats germany then they play russia ouch.
Also if you watched the game you could easily tell Canada didnt play there A or even B game cause well 1. The goalie Brodeur sucked balls and kept giving it to the US team. and 2. 3 Canadian olympians let me put this in quotes "Olympians" tripped over eachother in the game. When does that ever happen. It like never ever happens even in the NHL. You can not say Canada played even remotely like they normally do.
Im not gonna deny it tho that ya, it was a upset cause it was but they were not playing like it was there gold medal game because its not, they wont get knocked out even if they lose. Every team in the NHL does it so does US, they use the prelims to test and see what goalie is the best to go in first, and what lineups to use.
Say what I said are excuses what ever but then again I never said it was not an upset cause it was 
Every team has there bad days and watching the game after I heard the news you can clearly see it was one of Team Canadas bad games. Noone plays perfect every game.
Team USA doesn't suck tho, they are really good, they get stronger just about every year. I wouldn't be suprised if they won bronze or silver medal.
Good game tho non-the-less. Miller (US Goalie) played fucking amazing that game. He was like a BOSS

I live in Canada but I was rooting for USA to win because I wanna see Russia Vs Canada (I'm Russian so I'm rooting for them).
Team USA capitalized on their chances more and their goaltender was ridiculously good. Brodeur should be ashamed of that half-assed performance, especially the baseball swing that resulted in the 2nd goal.
Whenever Rafalski, Parise and Kane were on the ice it looked like Team USA just set loose a bunch of Terminators that were sent from the future to destroy Canada. They were like merciless goal scoring opportunity creating machines.
And that last heroic open net goal by Kesler? Forget about it. Team USA stepped on the ice with the mindset that Canada wish they had.
Very good game overall though, I love fast hockey.

Wait, there are goalies in hockey?
That explains the low scores.
They should have no goalies and make it like basketball. And raise the goals up in the air. And play on a wood court. And call it basketball.
Maybe I'll just watch basketball.

dont be bashing Curling. its actually fun to play lol. but i agree its not that amazing to watch for extended periods of time. i watch it for one or to rounds and change the channel.
