It seems there are a lot of us that have an interest in these subjects. Would it make sense to have a forum section maybe in the General section of the forums?
Maybe there could be a news/current events section too...

I'd say something like this might be beneficial. Although I would change it to lump altogether as science/technology, as the general topic of technology (non-support related) also seems to get discussed somewhat frequently on the forum. A possible way to arrange this would be to have this as a broad category to replace the "technology support" forum. Then within that we could have a single tech support forum (no need to separate it into "hardware", "software", and "games" methinks). Good idea?
Also I think it would be a good bet to also archive the Call of Duty forum, since not that many play the game and especially because we don't have a server up anymore. This would clear up a little space. Any objections?

It seems like a mass in-favor vote for this. The question now is: how should it be implemented? My idea? Smoke's original idea? Something different altogether? There doesn't seem to be a consensus on any one method. Hopefully this won't require another poll.
